Afterglow Tattoo needed a brand identity to launch their artist-owned collective. I guided the four founders through in-depth discovery and brand strategy sessions to develop a complete identity system that captured their welcoming, non-traditional approach and supported their vision of building community through art. Through these sessions we uncovered fundamental brand ideals that serve as guiding principles in all developed assets and systems.

Identity System Development

Using our discovered brand ideals as a North Star, I developed a complete identity system that positioned them as an inviting, community-centered studio – one that cultivates creative expression and community engagement. This positioning and identity system enabled them grow to 12K+ followers and earn features in Voyage ATL Magazine and FOX 5 Atlanta within their first 6 months.
